Advertising on austinimprov.com sites

Want to put a banner advertisement up on austinimprov.com sites? Easy! Send your banner, a pithy sentence describing it, and the appropriate destination URL to apthorpe+banners@cynistar.net. Improv troupes, instructors, and theatres can advertise for free otherwise rates are $20 for 3 months or $50 for a year (a 37.5% savings! Woo!) Ads should be:

468 wide by 60 tall image in gif, jpg, or png format, 72 dpi and a reasonable number/palette of colors. - see specs for IAB full banner ads.
Animation is ok but try to keep the file size reasonable (< 200kB or so.)
Mostly relevant to the improvisation, theatre, and comedy community of central Texas. No pillz, pr0n, or poker ads please.

Anyone can put Austin improv ads on their website. Just download this text file and paste it into your web page and you'll get one of the above-mentioned banner ads. Granted, we can't pay you for it (the above-mentioned fees go to pay for the bandwidth and hardware used to provide the austinimprov.com services (forums, blogs, websites, the ad server, etc.) Don't worry - nobody's getting rich off you.
